Actors Involved (Final beneficiaries and target groups)
The final beneficiaries of the action are the Cambodian and Lao PDR populations as a whole, but in particular those in high risk groups (e.g pregnant mothers & young children in areas with high arsenic groundwaters) in relation to anthropogenic or geogenic health hazards arising from the environment.Direct target groups of the action include: (i) Cambodian (RUPP) & Lao PDR (NUOL) academic personnel with research and teaching responsibilities in environmental science/studies; (ii) Other practising environmental professionals (e.g. with NGOs, government organisations, other educational institutions) in Cambodia and Lao PDR.
